Technical Program

"INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON IRAQI OIL STUDIES"

 

 Mesopotamian people of the Babylonian and Sumerian civilization of 6000 – 3000 years before present have used asphalt as cementing material of blocks of their buildings and paving roads while oil were used by the Sumerian and Faraonis for saving human bodies after death. Continuation of that civilization, Islamic Abbasids Scientists had performed theories for present Earth Sciences especially by Evin Sina and for exploration studies especially by Al-Beyroni.  Hopefully cooperation of our scientist of the present time in Iraq will develop performance of researches in oil studies to become up to the standard of the international conferences, journals and books. This conference could form the base for such cooperation's.

Eighty five   articles were submitted to the conference on oil studies, sixty five of them were accepted according their relation with oil studies and their scientific fulfillments. Fifty five four articles are accepted for oral presentation and six for poster display. These scientific participations are arranged in this conference seven sessions and the ninth session is for recommendations. Other activities will be display activities and tour.
